Award-winning artist Tara O’Neill draws inspiration from the vibrant colors, natural beauty, and rich cultural history of Southwest Florida. Based in the charming fishing village of Goodland, Florida, O’Neill is best known for her vivid oil paintings that capture the spirit of tropical landscapes and coastal life. Her distinctive artistic style reflects a lifelong passion for creativity, shaped by her Florida upbringing and travels throughout the Caribbean, Central America, Europe, and beyond. A multidisciplinary artist, her work can be found in private and corporate collections around the world.
O’Neill holds degrees in Fine Arts and English from the University of South Florida and has pursued artistic studies internationally, including at Oxford University and through workshops in Ireland and Italy. Her work has been featured in numerous galleries, museums, and public art installations, including the Tampa Museum of Art and Marco Island History Museum. Recognized for her contributions to the arts, she has received several prestigious honors, including the City of Marco Island’s Arts Afire Flame Award and the Marco Island Foundation for the Arts' Artist of the Year award in 2015. Through her colorful creations, O’Neill continues to celebrate the beauty, history, and unique character of the places that inspire her.
