In 1892 the Woodsum brothers, who owned steamboats on Lake Sunapee in New Hampshire, built three lighthouses to help with navigation around the lake. Most notable is this Loon Island Lighthouse which graces the north side of the Sunapee harbor, entering the greater part of the lake.
In 1910 this beautiful image was captured in a black and white photograph, then colorized by a German company in Chicago, IL, for sale as a souvenir postcard.
Fast forward to 2024, a Florida company has taken that image and made these wonderful 150-piece micro puzzles. For each puzzle sold $3.00 will be donated to the Lighthouse Preservation fund.
