Barque is led by Creative-in-Charge Kandice Matsler, whose love of paper and design began right here in the store back when it was known as Calligraphy Etc. After years in Dallas working for an invitation designer, Kandice returned in 2008 to purchase the very shop that first sparked her passion. In 2015, she reimagined the store as Barque, expanding its offerings to include unique gifts and lifestyle brands alongside its signature stationery. Today, Barque continues to blend creativity, personal service, and a dash of Southern charm, making it a destination for thoughtful giving and inspired living.
